Yesterday
I brought up the first Windows 2012 server in my home lab. After adding
it to my domain, I tried to update the machine via Windows Update but
received the error 800B0001 almost straight away.
A
quick search revealed that there was an update for WSUS 3.0 SP2 to
allow WSUS to provide updates to computers running Windows 8 and Server
2012.
After installing KB2734608 on my WSUS server followed by a quick reboot my Server 2012 box was able to check in and download all the updates available to it.
